Admission to the sovereign order of chivalry can only be granted to personalities who manifestly profess to embody the chivalrous virtues.
Born Members…
Candidates for admission to The Royal Order can be adult men and women, regardless of origin, nationality, skin color or religion, who meet the a.m. criteria of chivalry and who are able and deserve to serve the Order in an excellent manner in the realization of its tasks. They can be proposed to the Command by born members. This Membership is also hereditary by the Royal Decree. The admission to The Royal Order is associated with the Award of the Status of a Knight. This Investiture is, in accordance with international regulations, effective at least for the Territory of the United Arab Emirates.
Honorary Members can also be appointed by the Command through the proposition of born members. They are allowed to take part in the Order's events and meetings
